Scottish Love Island winner Paige Turley has admitted she is feeling challenged when breaking into the music industry, after her fame came from the ITV2 show.
The 24-year-old has said she is not being taken seriously as a musician, after winning the first ever Winter Love Island season back in 2020, reports the Scottish Sun.
The West Lothian singer has also stated that her followers, most of whom have came from her stint in reality TV, enjoy hearing about her clothes and hair rather than new music.

Since Paige's win with boyfriend Finn Tapp on the show, the pair have become successful influencers and won the £50,000 grand prize on the ITV2 programme.
Paige has over 1.7 million followers on Instagram, all of whom tune in regularly to keep up to date with their favourite Scottish beauty.
Paige admitted: "I definitely do find it a challenge.
"I think a lot of people thought that coming from the show would be this huge advantage because I've got a platform and people that follow me.
"But if anything it's more difficult I've found. It's a bit of a double-edged sword.
"I've got this platform but people don't know me for music so it's been challenging but hopefully in the long run it pays off.
"A lot of the audience that are there just now want to see what you're wearing, they want to see how you're styling your hair.
"So if you put on anything music-related they don't know you or follow you for that.
"It's then trying to find additional fans that are there for the music as well as what I wear my hair like or what I wear my clothes like."
After making her break on TV in 2012 with a successful Britain's Got Talent audition, the star has said her biggest dream is to succeed in the music industry.
She added; "A lot of the music I'm in the studio writing just now has soul influences through it but it is quite commercial as well."
Love Island returns to our screens on June 6 on the same channel of ITV2.
