Emergency services have rushed to a multi-vehicle collision near the M8 in West Lothian which involved multiple cars and a bus.
The collision occurred near the services at Heartlands Terrace, near Junction 4A of the M8 as three ambulances and at least two police cars have been pictured at the scene.
The road was temporarily closed to traffic after the crash around 2:30pm on Saturday, December 17, with another image showing the aftermath involving a heavily damaged black car at the side of the road.

A passer-by filmed the dramatic scenes that appear to show one of the vehicles having collided with the service X18 West Lothian bus, with the drivers of several cars speaking with officers.
Traffic was blocked from travelling towards Heartlands during the incident, with an eye witness reporting just one police van currently at the scene alongside a car with the front severely smashed up.
A post in a local Facebook group shortly after the incident alerted motorists to avoid the area as there was temporarily no access to Heartlands from Junction 4A of the M8.
The road appears to have re-opened to traffic, although it is currently unclear what caused the accident or if there have been any reported injuries.
Police Scotland was approached for comment.
