An eBay seller from West Lothian is hoping to cash in by selling a 'rare' coin on the marketplace for a hefty price tag.
The seller, who lives in Livingston, has listed a Victoria Cross Heroic Acts 50 pence piece on eBay for a whopping £1,500. The coin is not available to bid on, it is only available to buy at its full price.
The seller described the coin as: "2006 Victoria Cross Wounded Soldier 50p", but it was the sellers FAQs that were the most interesting part of the description.

When answering a question of why the coin was priced so high, the seller explained: "Is the 'one' painting of Mona Lisa considered rare?
"Or is '21,000,000' Bitcoin considered rare enough for its price to be $60,000 per coin?
"Is one rare or 21 million rare? You decide."
Change Checker values a standard, but certified BU copy of the coin as a common scarcity index, meaning it wouldn't be worth much more than face value.
However, this seller is listing the coin at £1,500 value, with free postage included.
Coin sellers are popular on eBay, with thousands of rare coins being listed each day.
You can view the eBay listing on the website right now, with the seller listing various other coins on their page.
