A West Lothian driver was caught out with no insurance after failing to keep up their payments.
Officers from the Road Police had issued a warning on social media after the individual was pulled over while their team was on patrol on Monday morning (May 17).
Edinburgh Live reported the car had been travelling on the A89 near Broxburn, the Livingston police had flagged down the vehicle shortly after 8am.
After investigating the car, officers discovered that the driver had no insurance that was valid after they failed to keep up their payments.
As well being issued a roadside fine, the driver had their vehicle seized.
In a tweet on Monday, police said: "#LivingstonRP stopped a vehicle this morning on the A89 near Broxburn.
"The vehicle/driver had no insurance and after a quick check with @DriveInsured it was established the policy was cancelled due to non payment. Vehicle seized and a roadside fine issued. #InsureItOrLoseIt."
