Livingston cricketer Jack Jarvis has been rewarded for his fine form in the last year with a call-up to the Scotland squad for their World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe later this summer.
The 19-year-old made his senior One Day International debut in February as they suffered defeat to Nepal in the final stages of the Cricket World Cup League Two campaign.
He also impressed during a recent training camp in Antigua, including a stunning knock of 71 off just 43 balls in a successful run chase against The Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots and last week was rewarded with a central contract from Cricket Scotland.
The Scotland squad will fly to Pretoria in South Africa on June 3, for a pre-tournament training camp. They will also play two warm-up games against Nepal and Netherlands, before travelling on to Zimbabwe with the action getting underway on June 18.
