West Lothian Council launch scheme for recent graduates

West Lothian Council has launched a graduate scheme for local people who have left higher education.

To be eligible for West Lothian Council’s Graduate work experience programme, you have to be a recent graduate, unemployed or working in a job unrelated to your degree, living in West Lothian, and under the age of 24.

The scheme aims to support recent graduates in West Lothian by providing work experience.

Work experience with the council will allow recent graduates an insight into how large, complex and diverse organisations operate - and provide the leavers with development opportunities and the opportunity to undertake research projects.

Opportunities within the programme are currently available for Education and Corporate Communications.

The closing date for both roles is 31 August.

For more information on the available roles, visit the Access2employment website - or contact Access2employment via email - Access2employment@westlothian.gov.uk for more information.
