West Lothian is set for a new glamping holiday park.
A planning application from the developers C Build Contracts to West Lothian Council shows that they plan to install eight holiday accommodation pods at the location in Westfield.
The plans show that the eight pods will be made up of one and two bedrooms units, with both offering sleeping quarters, a shower room and a sparse living area.

The old Logievale Inn was formerly located at the site, and was once a popular restaurant.
The rural location at Logievale in Westfield will offer holidaymakers the perfect spot to relax away from the city, whilst being close to Glasgow and Edinburgh should they fancy a day out.
Linlithgow is six miles to the north east of the site and Falkirk is 10 miles to the north-west. Bathgate lies four miles to the south east and Armadale four miles south.
The site is well served by road infrastructure, with both the M8 and M9 junctions within 6 miles and connecting holidaymakers with all the main roads in Scotland.
Two other planning sites have been approved by West Lothian Council in recent years, at Bathgate and Fauldhouse.
Glamping offers a more luxurious version of camping out, and allows people to get back to nature, whilst also having their home comforts close to hand.
West Lothian Council validated the planning application on Monday, March 7 and a decision is expected in the coming weeks and months.
