Fauldhouse boxer Reese Lynch has been named in the Team Scotland squad for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Lynch is one of 50 athletes who have been announced to mark 50 days until the event gets underway.
The call-up is the latest in a string of career milestones for the Rob Roy Amateur Boxing Club member.
Last year, Lynch became the first Scot to grab a medal at the AIBA World Championships in Belgrade.
He was also recently part of the Boxing Scotland squad for last month’s European Men’s Boxing Championship.
Lynch will compete in the 63.5kg light welterweight category. The boxing events run between July 28 and August 7.
His call-up comes just days after West Lothian gymnasts Shannon Archer and Cameron Lynn were named in the Team Scotland gymnastics squad.
