West Lothian is continuing to swelter today as the area falls under an amber weather warning for extreme heat.
Temperatures are expected to peak today and hit a new record.
People have been flocking to local beauty spots to cool down.
Paddle boarders and wild swimmers descended on the old Winchburgh Brickworks and Clay pit.

But we're all being warned to be careful and check on vulnerable people could experience health issues due to the extreme weather.
The Met Office warned: "The wider population are likely to experience some adverse health effects including sunburn or heat exhaustion (dehydration, nausea, fatigue) and other heat related illnesses."

The heatwave is expected to break today to make way for more comfortable conditions.
