West Indies vs England Third Test: Craig Overton replaces Matt Fisher as Ollie Robinson misses out again

England have confirmed their team for the final Test of the winter, a decider against West Indies in Grenada, with Craig Overton replacing Matt Fisher in the only change.

England will line up with the team they intended to field in the drawn Second Test in Barbados, before Overton was struck down by fatigue. Fisher came in for his debut and performed well, but misses out this time.

Notably, this means Ollie Robinson will have gone through the tour without playing. He missed the First Test with a back spasm, was not risked in the Second, and has now pulled up in training the day before the Third, ruling him out.

This is a major disappointment for a player who England are attempting to groom as a replacement for James Anderson and Stuart Broad – who were dropped for this tour – but is consistently struggling to get on the park.

Also left out is Matt Parkinson, the Lancashire legspinner, who is now the only uncapped player in the 15-man squad. England have opted for four seamers and Jack Leach on a pitch that is expected to be a little kinder to the seamers.

Chris Woakes retains his place despite a tough tour on which he has only taken two wickets adding to a poor overseas record. England will hope a little more grass on the wicket will aid him.
