Edson Alvarez is expected to make an immediate return to the starting lineup as West Ham host Ipswich Town today.
The Mexican midfielder has served a one-match suspension - missing the draw with Brentford - for a red card against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, and could return to the starting line-up at the London Stadium this weekend.
West Ham have won just one league game so far this season and will be eyeing a much-needed victory to ease the pressure on Julen Lopetegui when they host newly promoted Ipswich.
Niclas Fullkrug remains out after suffering a setback with the calf injury he picked up while on Germany duty during the September international break.
The striker trained last week but Lopetegui has revealed the summer signing is not ready to return to the fray yet.
“We would like Niclas to be fit now, but he's having some little problems,” the Hammers manager said.
“They're not massive [issues], but we've lost him for a little while now, and hopefully he'll be ready after the international break.
“He is still having little problems and won't be available this weekend.”
