West Ham XI vs Arsenal: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League game today

West Ham are without Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma for tonight's Premier League trip to Arsenal.

Aguerd missed the Hammers' Carabao Cup exit at Liverpool last week through illness and was still absent when David Moyes's side beat Manchester United 2-0 on Saturday.

Zouma also misses out against Arsenal so Konstantinos Mavropanos partners Angelo Ogbonna at centre-back.

While the Irons have been faced with a hectic December so far, the festive fixture list has been reasonably kind, with five days between games and Moyes able to give his players Christmas off.

"We were able to have Christmas Day off, so it was very good," David Moyes said. "I think the programme works out for different teams, so ours just worked out that we could have Christmas Day off which was lovely."

As a result, the Scot sticks with what has become a tried and tested first-choice XI in the Premier League.

Alphonse Areola keeps his place in goal ahead of Lukasz Fabianski.

Confirmed West Ham XI: Areola, Coufal, Ogbonna, Mavropanos, Emerson, Alvarez, Soucek, Paqueta, Kudus, Ward-Prowse, Bowen.

Subs: Fabianski, Johnson, Cresswell, Fornals, Cornet, Ings, Benrahma, Mubama, Kehrer.

Injured: Antonio

Time and date: 8:15pm GMT on Thursday December 28, 2023

Venue: Emirates Stadium
