Arsenal's lead at the top of the Premier League table was cut to only three points on Saturday after Manchester City defeated Leicester City 3-1.
The Gunners must beat West Ham on Sunday if they are to retain their six point lead over the champions. The Hammers are indulged in their own battle at the other end of the league table, three points off the bottom three.
Mikel Arteta's side will have to win at the London Stadium without William Saliba. The Frenchman continues to be sidelined after sustaining a back injury last month, leaving Rob Holding to partner Gabriel Magalhaes.
