West Ham United’s under-21s will play host to League Two side Crawley Town in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday afternoon at the club’s Rush Green training ground.
The Hammers ’ first-team has played three mid-season friendlies against Cambridge United, Udinese and Fulham this month, with a number of academy players among those to feature, including Pierre Ekwah, Michael Forbes, Levi Laing, Freddie Potts, Kamarai Swyer and Divin Mubama all getting minutes off the bench.
Crawley have announced that they will head to West Ham’s training ground to take on the Hammers’ U21s in a behind closed doors friendly, kicking off at 1pm.

West Ham’s opponents on Tuesday are managed by former Hammers and Tottenham Hotspur winger Matthew Etherington.
Etherington, who spent five and a half years at West Ham between 2003 and 2009, played 195 times for the Hammers and helped them earn promotion to the Premier League, as well as reaching the 2006 FA Cup final.
At the end of last month, Etherington became Crawley’s manager in his maiden first-team manager role, having previously been a caretaker boss at former side Peterborough United.
Etherington succeeded Kevin Betsy as manager, whose short stint with Crawley came after previously managing youth sides at both England and Arsenal.
Crawley currently sit 19th in League Two but have not played since December 9, with their trip to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday being postponed.
