Leeds United striker Sonny Perkins scored in his tenth game in a row last night in the Under-21s 5-3 win over Tranmere Rovers in the Papa John's Trophy at Prenton Park.
After going 2-0 down in the opening 20 minutes, Perkins got Leeds on the board before two Joe Gelhardt goals in three minutes gave them a 3-2 lead in the 31st minute.
A late first half goal meant the score was even at 3-3 at halftime, before goals from Mateo Joseph and first team right-back Cody Drameh sealed all three points for the Whites.

The 18-year-old has now scored eight goals in seven games across all club competitions as well as five goals for the England Under-19s squad during their three Euros Championship Qualifiers matches in the international break.
Perkins took to Instagram to celebrate the win, posting three photos of him on the pitch including the final one of him pointing at the camera with the caption: "We keep going".
Rice took to the comments, sending the 18-year-old the message "Stop looking for the camera man" in reference to the photo he posted. Perkins used to be part of the West Ham Under-18s and Under-21 side before signing for Leeds in the summer transfer window earlier this year.
