West Ham United have been warned that they will be relegated if they decide to part ways with David Moyes following the clash against Nottingham Forest.
The Reds travel to the London Stadium looking to pile more pressure on the Hammers boss in Saturday’s 3pm kick off. Ahead of the game, West Ham sit in the final relegation place, with some fans calling for the manager to be shown the door following the 2-0 loss against Tottenham last weekend.
It was confirmed at the start of this week that Moyes will remain in charge for the clash against Forest. But the Daily Mail report that a loss against the Reds means that the club’s owners will be ‘forced’ into a decision over the Scotsman's future.

However, former Premier League midfielder Paul Merson believes that a decision to part ways with Moyes would backfire on West Ham. The pundit has backed the manager to lead the club to Premier League safety at the end of this season.
“West Ham will get out, but the other day [vs Tottenham] was worrying. I watched and thought 'this is one of your biggest games of the season', they didn't play like it was. That's a worry,” he wrote in his Sky Sports column.
“Get rid of David Moyes and they will get relegated. Keep him and they will be okay. They will not go down with Moyes as manager, no chance.
“This league is all about good starts, if you get a good start you've got a good chance. Just look at Fulham, Brighton and Brentford. It's so hard to recover once you are in trouble because you're up against it straight away. It would be one of the biggest shocks in football if West Ham get relegated with David Moyes in charge - he's thick-skinned and he's got the experience to get them out of trouble.”
Forest currently sit in 13th place ahead of the game at the London Stadium, five points above West Ham in the table. Following the game against the Hammers, the Red face another relegation threatened side in Everton.
