West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass has appealed against his FA charge for allegedly abusing an anti-doping official.
The midfielder was accused by an official of making an abusive comment at the club’s training ground in February.
He has denied making the comment and has requested a personal hearing. He could face a fine or a ban if found guilty.
Snodgrass was not selected for testing and did not refuse to be tested.
Meanwhile, West Ham defender Ben Johnson signed a new three-year contract on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old, a cousin of ex-Tottenham captain Ledley King and the nephew of former England defender Paul Parker, said: “It has been a whirlwind since my first team debut.”
