A former West Ham technical director has told David Moyes to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The Hammers currently sit 16th in the Premier League with 14 points from 15 games but their defence has been relatively strong this season. The east London outfit have conceded 17 goals so far, the joint fourth-best record in the division, it's more that their offence has failed to fire - with 12 goals to date.
However, centre-backs Kurt Zouma and summer signing Nayef Aguerd have been struck down by injuries this term, Craig Dawson has been linked with a move away from the club and Angelo Ogbonna is out of contract next summer.

Now, Gianluca Nani, who was West Ham's technical director between 2008-10, believes giant centre-back Milenkovic would be an ideal fit at the London Stadium. However, the 6ft 5in Serbian is unlikely to come on the cheap as his contract with the Italian outfit expires in the summer of 2027.
Despite that, Nani, who is credited with unearthing Italian talents such as Andrea Pirlo and Luca Toni, thinks the 25-year-old, who represented Serbia at the World Cup, is what Moyes' men need right now.
He said via Radio Firenze Viola: "He has all the characteristics to play in England. [Milenkovic has the] perfect physical characteristics for West Ham.
"I see him as excellent for the Hammers. They should look for him. I don’t know if it will happen in January."
