Lukasz Fabianksi - A confident return to the team even if he was not called into too much action, made a good second-half save from Tom Cleverley to keep West Ham ahead and was impressive under the high ball. 7
Vladimir Coufal - Got forward well and put in a number of dangerous crosses. 7
Craig Dawson - His usual dominant self in the air, caught out on the deck a few times but a generally solid performance with a very brave block in the dying minutes to deny Josh King a shot on goal. 7
Kurt Zouma - Was booed throughout by the away fans and received stick from some home supporters too. Despite this put in a solid defensive effort 7
Aaron Cresswell - Always a threat in the attacking third and defenisvely sound throughout. 7
Declan Rice - Dictated play as usual, used his burst of speed in both defence and attack, one run tracking back to tackle King (even if he was off-side) was particularly impressive in showing his sheer pace. 7
Tomas Soucek - Was a nuisance in the Watford box at set-pieces and won back possession a number of times in defence. 7
Jarrod Bowen - West Ham's most lively player in the first half looking to run at the defence and slip balls in behind. Got lucky with his goal but deserved it for taking the initiative in attack. 8
Pablo Fornals - A quiet evening for the Spaniard but improved as the game went on. 6
Said Benrahma (off 60) - Had a good chance in the first-half to open the scoring but failed to capitalise when his effort was first saved by Ben Foster and then smashed the rebound against the post. 6
Michail Antonio - Poor in the first-half too often a loose touch saw him give the ball away, improved in the second but not a great deal. 6
Subs:
Manuel Lanzini (on 60) - Tidy on the ball and added pace into West Ham's play. 7
