West Ham fell to a 1-0 defeat at Mancheste United on Sunday.
A frantic finish from the Hammers was not enough to overcome Marcus Rashford’s first-half header at Old Trafford, sending the Hammers down to 13th in the Premier League.
Here’s how David Moyes’ side rated at Old Trafford...
Lukasz FabiaÅski - 6
Seemed to hurt himself making clearance that should not have been necessary had flag gone up quicker. Replaced at half-time.
Thilo Kehrer - 5
Had looked impressive on return to right-back but beaten too easily by Rashford for the opener, for all the forward had the run on him. Booked when spun and outpaced by the same player.
Kurt Zouma - 7
Vital touch took ball off the head of Ronaldo. Monstrous aerial presence, denied equaliser by a sensational David De Gea stop.
Craig Dawson - 6
Loose pass gifted Rashford early chance and looked a little rusty on return.
Aaron Cresswell - 6
Outshone by the impressive Diogo Dalot in battle of full-backs on his flank.
Declan Rice - 7
Passing off but defensive screening as sharp as ever. So close to a sensational equaliser but thwarted by De Gea brilliance.
Tomas Soucek - 6
Made a brilliant block on Rashford amid several important interventions early on but faded. Booked.
Jarrod Bowen - 6
Fit to start after missing Thursday’s meeting with Silkeborg because of an ankle knock but did not quite offer his usual direct threat. Unlucky that Maguire’s touch deflected late chance for leveller.

What a ball and what a header 😍💥 pic.twitter.com/DpZaLKoU6Z
Flynn Downes - 5
Deployment as a No10 simply has not worked. Does not seem to find the spaces from which more natural playmakers hurt teams.
Said Benrahma - 7
Easily West Ham’s liveliest threat in the first-half, exhibiting several fine pieces of skill.
Gianluca Scamacca - 4
A really poor afternoon. Devoid of service but has to do more to get involved. Looks hurt by Lucas Paqueta’s absence. Booked.
Substitutes
Alphonse Areola (Fabianski 46’) - 6
A rare League chance and may get more if Fabianski injury proves anything serious.
Michael Antonio (Scamacca 57’) - 6
Positive impact after introduction and got into an enjoyable tussle with Martinez.
Pablo Fornals (Downes 77’) - N/A
