West Ham fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Brentford on Friday night.
Ivan Toney and Josh DaSilva scored in the first-half to ramp up the pressure on David Moyes, who has struggled to get the most out of a £150m summer spending spree.
Here’s how West Ham side rated at the London Stadium...
Lukasz Fabianski 5
Could only parry Norgaard hook as Toney scored, then beaten by Dasilva.
Vladimir Coufal 4
Delivery leaves so much to be desired. Selection ahead of Ben Johnson was puzzling.
Craig Dawson 5
Twice went close with headers and lifted crowd with a couple of big tackles, but caught out of position repeatedly after the break.
Angelo Ogbonna 5
Handed a first League start since November 2021 at heart of back-three. Dragged miles out of position by Toney for second goal but got nowhere near him.
Aaron Cresswell 3
On his heels as Toney pounced for Brentford opener then embarrassed by Dasilva for goal.
Emerson 5
Like Cresswell, in the vicinity without acting as Toney scored. Forced Raya into a decent save at near post.
Declan Rice 6
Hit woodwork with brilliant curler early on and linked well with Paqueta.
Lucas Paqueta 5
Dropped into a deeper role, more like the one he plays for Brazil. Was more involved as a result and dragged an effort just wide late in first-half but the Hammers need more from their record signing.
Jarrod Bowen 6
Positivity looked to have won a penalty early in second half but VAR showed foul was outside the box.
Said Benrahma 6
West Ham’s liveliest attacker in theaofirst-half against his former side but faded.
Gianluca Scamacca 4
Anonymous for much of his return to the starting XI, though did test Raya with a stinging strike late on.
Substitutes
Michail Antonio (Emerson 64’) 5
Sent on for his 250th Hammers appearance with the brief for a rescue act. Went on a brilliant run, then missed his kick by about a foot.
Tomas Soucek (Paqueta 83’)
Unused: Areola, Johnson, Kehrer, Aguerd, Downes, Fornals, Lanzini.
