West Ham could be without four senior players for Liverpool match

West Ham United must contend with a depletion in centre-backs for their visit to Anfield on Wednesday evening, with Liverpool looking to register back-to-back Premier League wins for only the second time this season.

David Moyes could be without defensive mainstays Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma for the 7.30pm kick-off, as well as long-term absentee Nayef Aguerd, who has not featured since pre-season, following his £30million move to the London Stadium.

The Hammers are also without the services of Maxwel Cornet, who is continuing to recover from the calf injury which has kept him out of their last four matches.

Dawson missed the 1-1 with Southampton on Sunday after picking up a dead leg against Fulham and then aggravating it further against Anderlecht in the UEFA Conference League.

Zouma may stand a better chance of involvement. He has missed West Ham's last two matches with illness but has returned to training this week, although manager Moyes has remained tight-lipped on whether he will be deemed fit enough to play against the Reds.

Aside from the aforementioned quartet, the East London club will have a full squad to chose from.
