West Ham confirmed team news: David Moyes makes 11 changes to face Blackburn Rovers

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face Blackburn Rovers at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will look to book their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup against their Championship opponents on Wednesday night, a first meeting between the two sides in this competition for 22 years.

As the Irons aim to win and climb above Liverpool in the table, Moyes has made 11 changes to face Palace from the team that beat FCSB 3-0 on Thursday night.

In a fully changed side, nine of the 11 who started in Romania are back in the starting 11, with goalkeeper Alphonse Areola coming back in goal.

At the back, Ben Johnson, Angelo Ogbonna and Nayef Aguerd all start, with Vladimir Coufal and Emerson start as wing-backs either side of them.

Conor Coventry and Flynn Downes are back in the middle of midfield, with Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals playing behind Michail Antonio up front.

Kurt Zouma, Craig Dawson, Aaron Cresswell, Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen, Said Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca all drop to the bench. Goalkeepers Darren Randolph and Krisztian Hegyi make up the bench.

Winger Maxwel Cornet (calf) isstill out, having been forced off on his full league debut for the club against Wolverhampton Wanderers over a month ago.

Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has made 11 changes from the side that beat Huddersfield Town 1-0 on Saturday.
