West Ham confirmed XI: David Moyes makes six changes to face Southampton as Fabianski starts

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face Southampton at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will look to return to winning ways in the Premier League and move out of the relegation zone after dropping to 19th on Saturday following results elsewhere.

As the Irons look to record a vital three points against bottom of the table, Moyes has made six changes to face Saints from the side that were 4-0 winners over AEK Larnaca in their last match 17 days ago.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is back in the squad and back in the starting XI after fracturing his eye-socket and cheekbone against Nottingham Forest at the end of February.

In defence, Thilo Kehrer starts at right-back with Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd starting at centre-back and Emerson on the left.

After a rest against Larnaca last time out, captain Declan Rice is back in the side, playing in a midfield three with Lucas Paqueta and Tomas Soucek.

Said Benrahma is back in the side after a rest in the Europa Conference League, playing in a front three with ex-Saints striker Danny Ings and Jarrod Bowen.

From the 4-0 win over Larnaca, Alphonse Areola, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals all drop to the bench. Vladimir Coufal and Michail Antonio are back on the bench after injuries prior to the international break. Ben Johnson does not make the squad, while Gianluca Scamacca (knee) misses out through injury.

Meanwhile, Saints boss Ruben Selles has made two changes from the side that drew 3-3 with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 15 days ago.
