QUESTION Time is set to be broadcast from Beckenham this week as a range of panellists prepare to be grilled on a variety of topics.
It will be the last edition of the show in 2024 and will feature a range of figures.
It comes after we revealed on Wednesday that Reform UK have appeared more than three time as much as the SNP on Question Time since the General Election – despite having half the number of seats at Westminster.
Here’s all you need to know about tonight’s programme.
How can I watch Question Time?
Question Time will be broadcast at BBC One at 10.40pm tonight.
It can also be viewed through BBC iPlayer HERE. Here’s a look at who will be appearing on tonight’s programme.
Wes Streeting
The UK’s Health Secretary will be among those on the programme. It comes the day after he announced that puberty-blockers will be banned for children across the UK indefinitely.
Streeting (below) has served as the MP for Ilford North since 2015 and was appointed as the shadow health secretary in 2021, taking over the main role in government following Labour’s election win in July.
Prior to this, he had worked as the shadow secretary of state for child poverty.
Piers Morgan
The host of Piers Morgan Uncensored and the former editor of the Daily Mirror will also be on the programme.
It marks his second appearance on the programme overall, having also been on the show with Streeting and Nigel Farage back in May.
Before his Uncensored show, Morgan (above) was the host of Good Morning Britain from 2015 to 2021.
Tom Tugendhat
Former minister Tugendhat currently serves as the MP for Tonbridge, having formerly served the Tonbridge and Malling constituency from 2015 before constituency boundaries were redrawn.
He served as the minister of state for security under both Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak but does not serve as part of Kemi Badenoch’s top team.
He has previously launched bids to become the leader of the Tory party, including following the resignation of Boris Johnson.
He later endorsed Truss before throwing his hat in the ring once again after Sunak stepped down as leader.
Christine Jardine
Christine Jardine, the MP for Edinburgh West, was first elected to Westminster in 2017 and has remained in the same seat since.
She defeated SNP candidate Sarah Masson at the last election, securing 39.9% of the vote compared with the SNP’s 33%.
Jardine (above) is a former BBC journalist and is her party’s Scotland and equalities spokesperson.
Emma Dabiri
Emma Dabiri is the author of four books, with her debut – Don’t Touch My Hair – published in 2019.
She is an international bestseller and was elected as a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2023.
Dabiri is also a columnist for The Guardian.
