MIAMI - Latina artist Wendy Guevara has reached a significant milestone in her rising career: she's become the first Mexican transgender woman to represent a global cosmetic powerhouse
The announcement sent shockwaves across social media after Guevara, winner of 'La Casa de los Famosos' reality show, shared the update on her Instagram account, unveiling the product in question and making Latino LGBTQ+ history.
In her post, the artist expressed her gratitude and excitement for assuming the role as one of MAC's ambassadors, showcasing a new lipstick in the shade Candy Yum Yum.

Wendy Guevara is known for being part of the artistic project "Las Perdidas", alongside Paolita Suárez and Kimberly Irene 'La más Preciosa'. The three are Mexican transgender YouTubers, influencers, entrepreneurs, and singers. They initially gained fame on social media and later ventured into theater and television.
Originally from León, Guanajuato, Guevara started as a transgender influencer who received her name from one of her friends with whom she worked at a beauty salon. Her trajectory and success have been inspiring for many within and outside of the LGBTQ+ community. She has 7,2 million followers on Instagram.
She went mainstream in Mexico and the U.S. Latino community during her participation in the first season of the Mexican version of "La Casa de los Famosos," which she won.
