Welsh UFC star Jack Shore made a really emotional speech about his dad's battle with cancer after he won his fight on Saturday evening. Jack, from Abertillery beat Finland's Makwan Amirkhani in his featherweight debut at UFC 286 in London.
Following his win, 28-year-old Jack made an emotional speech about his dad Richard Shore. Richard is the head instructor at Shore Mixed Martial Arts in Abertillery and Jack revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer last year.
He said: "Let me tell you something about my dad. November, 2022, diagnosed with cancer, finished his chemo treatment two weeks ago, here to corner me today, radiotherapy next week. If he f***ing tells me to do something, I'm going to do it. Toughest man I know."

The win was Shore's sixth in seven UFC fights since 2019. It was his first fight at featherweight after admitting difficulties in cutting to bantamweight.
