A Welsh rugby match ended in chaos on Saturday afternoon after four players from the same team were sent off following a series of alleged violent incidents.
The Division 3 East Central clash between Fairwater and Pentyrch was abandoned after just 55 minutes as the home side had gone down to 11 men.
A witness has told WalesOnline the trouble started during a bad-tempered first half, with one Fairwater player sent to the sin bin for a no-arms tackle. The same player was then shown a red for committing the same offence moments after returning to the field of play.

Another red card was dished out when a Fairwater player was penalised for allegedly dropping a knee into the back of a Pentyrch player.
The count was up to three a few moments later when a scuffle broke out, with one Fairwater player allegedly shown a red card for swinging several punches at opposing players.
Then, it is claimed, came the decisive incident as a Fairwater player allegedly punched an opponent. Pentyrch were winning 18-0 at the time.
A witness, who was at the game but didn't want to be named, said: "It was disgusting. I've watched rugby all around the world and this was one of the worst things I've ever seen in terms of violence. It can't be a part of rugby. It needs to be stamped out. The WRU need to take action and pressure needs to be put on the WRU to take action."
The Welsh Rugby Union has confirmed the match's events are subject to an investigation. A spokesperson said: "The Welsh Rugby Union are aware of this matter and are in the early stages of investigating this in accordance with the WRU disciplinary regulations."
Fairwater RFC have been approached for a response, while Pentyrch have declined to comment.
