A Welsh aluminium fabricator will be supporting the construction of a new Formula 1 factory at Aston Martin's existing facility in Silverstone.
Cardiff-based Dudley's Aluminium will be working with construction firm SDC Builders to build the 400,000 sq ft facility which will support Aston Martin's growth and ambitions with Formula 1.
The firm will install Kawneer doors and capped curtain walling on the building which will house the Aston Martin team's design, manufacturing and marketing resource as well as its first ever wind tunnel and state-of-the-art simulator. The opening date is expected to be in the first quarter of 2023.
