A fish and chip takeaway in Cornwall has been put on the market for £895,000.
In what commercial property consultancy SBC Property is calling a "rare freehold opportunity as a going concern", Chip Ahoy's takeaway business will be sold alongside the owner's accommodation.
Chip Ahoy is centrally located in the "renowned" coastal village of Padstow, which has reputation for restaurants including a number of Michelin star establishments.
The establishment comprises a well established fish and chip takeaway, fully fitted and equipped with a one-bedroom owners' apartment on the upper floors. The shop benefits from display windows and double opening doors to Padstow's Broad Street, is arranged to provide a waiting/serving area with a like new Kiremko range (installed in May 2022).

The premises and business comes to the market as the current owners plan to retire after trading for over 25 years. The takeaway operates for nine months a year and is staffed by the owners plus one full-time and three-to-four part time staff members.
SBC property said: "The business thrives in a busy trading position offering traditional fish and chips and a range of cold drinks."
Chip Ahoy has experienced good levels of trade in recent years with continued scope for growth.
The property consultancy added: "Chip Ahoy offers a superb opportunity to acquire a busy and popular freehold fish and chip shop in one of Cornwall's most popular resorts.
"Trading accounts, which show strong turnover and profitability, will be available to seriously interested parties."
