The UK is braced for a weekend washout as nearly 60 flood alerts have been issued across England.
Dozens of sheep were left stranded as a river burst its banks amidst the ongoing rainy weather battering the country.
Astonishing photos showed how the farm animals all sought safety on the raised ground to avoid potentially deadly flooding at Stratton, near Dorchester.
It's looking like the sheep won't be alone in feeling the brunt of the bad weather over the coming days.
Rain and wind has swept the nation in recent weeks as motorists on the M25 near Swanley in Kent had to deal with torrential rain pelting down across the road.
With no sign of the rain stopping anytime soon, the government has issued 57 flood alerts and four flood warnings.
Whilst the former only makes Brits aware where flooding is possible, the latter is a stark warning where they expect it to take place.
This comes as 34 flood warnings were removed in the past 24 hours.
Alerts cover huge areas of the south east, south west and midlands as a yellow rain warning is in place across Brighton and parts of the south coast warn Brits of a washout.
The weather warning is in place from midday to midnight today and warns of flooding and disruption to travel with up to 30mm of rain possible.
The four flood warnings cover Climping, West Sussex, Upper Frome at Maiden Newton and to Dorchester, and North Bank Road, which sits east of Peterborough along the River Nene. See the full list of flood alerts below.
As much of England has to deal with torrential rain, Northern Ireland and Scotland should expect blustery showers as the country continues through a miserable last few days of the month.
