Week 7 NFL TV schedule and game maps

There are only three late games this week. The early slate doesn’t have a ton of great matchups. That’s the problem when teams take their bye weeks. We simply don’t have enough late games or good matchups. It also hurts that the Chiefs are playing on Thursday and the Patriots are playing on Monday. We’ll have to make do with what we have. Most of the country gets the Packers and the Raiders to start and will end with Bears versus the Saints. Let’s check out what else is on the docket. Thanks to 506Sports.com, per usual.

CBS Single Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

Oakland @ Green Bay Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
Houston @ Indianapolis Greg Gumbel, Trent Green
Jacksonville @ Cincinnati Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon
Miami @ Buffalo Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
LA Chargers @ Tennessee (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT) Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts
Houston and Indianapolis could be an intriguing game since the Colts are coming off a bye. They may need that extra time to figure out a game plan to stop the Texans explosive offense. The Chargers-Titans matchup is one of disappointing teams. It would be a loser leaves town game if the Titans weren’t already out of it.

Fox Early Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT)

LA Rams @ Atlanta Sam Rosen, Charles Davis

Arizona @ NY Giants Kenny Albert, Greg Olsen

Minnesota @ Detroit Brandon Gaudin, Chris Spielman

San Francisco @ Washington Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston

No game due to NFL Blackout rules

Minnesota-Detroit is a fun NFC North matchup where both teams will try and establish the run as much as possible and use their defense to try and get the upper hand. It’s the type of game that would be great back in the 90’s. Arizona versus New York could be fun as it pits the top two quarterbacks from the 2019 draft against each other. The Rams and Niners should both blow out their opponents.

Fox Late Game (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

New Orleans @ Chicago Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman
Baltimore @ Seattle Dick Stockton, Ronde Barber, Mark Schlereth
No game due to NFL Blackout rules

Settle in for the two Fox afternoon games. Are we sure there isn’t a way to put one of these games on CBS. The Saints and Bears will have two backup quarterbacks squaring off. It will also have two defenses that have played well this season. Take the under. The Ravens-Seahawks game could be the exact opposite. It’s also the better television option but it’s been relegated to the second matchup on Fox.
