Wednesday snow weather forecast for Leeds as temperatures plunge across Yorkshire

It’s time to put away the flip flops and get your big winter coats out again as the snow is set to hit Leeds today (Wednesday).

The day will start off with rain from 6am at 5C but by midday the temperature will drop to 4C.

There will be rain throughout the morning and into the early afternoon.

According to the Met Office the rain will stop at around 4pm where it will turn cloudy into the evening.

The temperature will drop to 3C before dropping to 2C at 9pm when snow is expected to hit the city.

The Met Office’s website for Yorkshire and Humber reads: “Outbreaks of rain and hill snow clearing southwards by early afternoon, followed by sunny spells and wintry showers. Feeling much colder than recently, especially in the breeze near coasts. Maximum temperature 6 °C.”
