Wednesday's weather for Leeds as weirdly warm spell continues

While most of us are counting down to Christmas in Leeds, other people will be busy checking the weather to see if there’s a chance of snow.

It doesn't seem likely given that it’s going to be a warmer day than most days last week, just days after the Millennium Square ice rink was forced to close because it was too warm.

There will be highs of 8C throughout the city. From 8am, it’s going to be sunny before it turns to clear into the evening.

No rain is forecast through the day but it will be windy according to the Met Office.

This is what the forecast said about weather across Yorkshire: “Mostly dry and bright in the east, cloudier with showers for the northern Pennines. Rather windy, with a risk of gales for hills and coasts. Maximum temperature 8 °C.”
