Young Scots dad gunned down in garden after rival was humiliated in online video

A man was shot to death in his back garden after a rival was humiliated in an online video.

Graham Williamson was executed in broad daylight at his home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire on August 13 2020.

Jurors watched horror CCTV footage of a masked gunman racing up the street, blasting the 26 year-old in the back before jumping into a getaway car.

Travel warning as UK tourists set to pay fee to enter Europe this year

The application will allow access to popular holiday destinations like Spain, France, and Italy (Getty)

British tourists will be forced to pay a fee in order to enter Europe later this year in a new post-Brexit scheme.

Travellers will need to fork out for an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) in a scheme expected to be rolled out towards the end of 2022.

Since Brexit, UK citizens have not needed a visa to visit any EU member states and passengers have just been using their British passport.

Andy Murray hits out at 'madness' of Texas school shooting as 21 die in massacre

Scots tennis ace Andy Murray has reacted with fury after 19 children and two teachers were killed in a US school massacre.

The 35-year-old, who is a survivor of the Dunblane massacre , took to social media after the gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas.

A shooter, identified by US law enforcement agencies as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, was killed by responding police officers.

East Kilbride Thistle co-boss quits football as violent assault takes mental toll

The joint boss of East Kilbride Thistle has stepped down from his role as he continues to deal with the trauma of a violent assault that left him scarred for life.

Alan Paterson is lucky to be alive after a group of men attacked him and two friends on Village Main Street last month.

The 44-year-old was targeted on Sunday, April 4, as he and his friends waited on a taxi home.

Rebekah Vardy's career 'in tatters' after Wagatha Christie trial, says PR agent

A PR agent has claimed Rebekah Vardy 's career is 'ruined' following the Wagatha Christie trial, after she went head-to-head with Coleen Rooney .

The libel trial has seen Coleen's lawyer David Sherborne QC claim that Rebecca and her agent Caroline Watt leaked stories about her as well as other celebrities in her circle.

After a social media outburst from Coleen, blaming her fellow WAG for the leak, Rebekah launched legal action, claiming she suffered "very serious harm to her reputation" as a result of the WAG's 2019 post.
