Giant exotic spider 'alive with missing legs' found on busy Glasgow road
This is the skin-crawling moment a giant exotic spider was discovered on a busy road in Glasgow. Alex McLeod couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted the creepy-crawly on Victoria Road in Govanhill, Southside, on Saturday night.
The 26-year-old was heading to the pub when he spotted the creature, which appeared to be yellow and black and looked to be struggling to move, with two missing legs. At a glance, Alex thought it could have been a crab - but upon closer inspection he realised it was definitely of the arachnid variety.
Scots pensioner ran over schoolboy before driving off to play golf
A pensioner knocked a schoolboy flying over the bonnet of her car and left him in the road as she drove off to play golf.
Hit and run driver Muriel McPherson told a court she knew she had struck the boy but "panicked" and fled the scene without stopping. Perth Sheriff Court was told that the former golf club captain simply drove off to make her pre-arranged tee time at Blairgowrie Golf Club.
The 13-year-old boy sustained injuries, but 79-year-old McPherson has been allowed to keep driving after a sheriff decided not to ban her. The court heard how McPherson watched the boy bounce off the bonnet of her car and land on the street in front of her, but then failed to pull over.
Shein shoppers in stitches over denim shorts that leave your cheeks on show
Shein has once again left shoppers in stitches and this time it is over a pair of low waist denim shorts that barely leave your backside covered.
The online fast fashion giant has become legendary for quite a few risqué items that leave little to the imagination, which seems to be the case once again.
Posting to social media, Shein shared a snap of their Low Waist Cut Out Ripped Frayed Denim Shorts which, put it this way, definitely live up the 'cut out' style design.

People claiming PIP do not need to report any of these six changes to DWP this summer
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is a benefit for people over 16 and under State Pension age who need additional help with daily living tasks or getting around as a result of a long-term illness, disability or mental or physical health condition.
The benefit is being replaced by Adult Disability Payment which follows the same eligibility guidelines as PIP and is now available in 13 council areas in Scotland.
Successful PIP claimants could receive between £24.45 and £156.90 every week and as PIP is paid every four weeks, this amounts to between £97.80 and £627.60 every pay period.
