Wedding guest mistaken for bride with risky outfit at friend's big day

A wedding guest was mistaken for the bride thanks to her risky outfit choice at her friend's big day.

The woman posted selfies of her wedding outfit - which many said was definitely too "bride-y" for a guest.

Embellished with pearls, the floor-length nude gown from Fashion Nova was slammed by many people on social media.

Images of the guest wearing the outfit were posted to a public Facebook page where some followers initially thought she was a bride.

While some outright hated the design of the dress, more were shocked at her decision to wear something so light in colour.

Uploading a screengrab of the dress, one user wrote: "I feel like the dress and accessories look a little too 'bride-y'... thoughts?"

"I thought she was the bride," one person added. "The design on that dress is vomit worthy."

Another wrote: "'Bride-y' - sure. Bigger profile: it's see through and trashy."

Others said the top to toe embellishment made her look like a "pin cushion".

Previously on the group, two women have been slammed on social media over their choice of attire for their friend's big day.

A photo of the unnamed ladies was shared on the Facebook  group, That's It I'm Wedding Shaming, where people were quick to rip into their clothing.

One is shown to be wearing a dusky pink crop top and matching figure-hugging skirt with a split up to the thigh, while the other is in a lacy mini dress, which on first glance looks white (a big wedding no, no!)

However someone later revealed that the dress is actually light blue, so at least she didn't commit the ultimate wedding faux pas.

Two women in the middle of the picture were slammed for wearing 'inappropriate' outfits (FACEBOOK/thats it, I'm wedding)

People on the page did not hold back their thoughts.

One person commented: "Neither of those two in the middle are dressed appropriately for a wedding."

Another said: "At least the girls on the ends look nice for a wedding."
