Weather forecast shows snowstorm hitting Buffalo looks eerily like Bills logo

A huge snowstorm has already started to hit the state of New York, but the forecast for this weekend looks strangely like the Buffalo Bills logo, where the NFL team are housed.

The NFL has moved the Bills' upcoming home game against the Cleveland Browns to a new location due to the snowstorm, with between three and six feet of snow expected over the weekend. NFL games have taken place in the snow before, but the league have acted due to the extremity of the downpour.

The forecast displaying the snowstorm looked strangely familiar to eagle eyed viewers, with some realising that it looks extremely close to the actual Bills logo. And it's fair to say that the resemblance is uncanny.

The Bills' colours are red, white and blue, a popular trio in the United States. Their franchise logo famously displays a blue buffalo, which was switched from a red one back in 1974. With the colour switch, they decided to keep its' red colour, but by adding a stripe.

And this can be made out on the weather forecast, with not only the shape looking similar, but the colours are pretty spot on too. It's certainly a strange coincidence, but some fans have been loving it, while others are completely freaked out.

It's only the second time an NFL game has been moved due to snowfall, just ask the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers, who have been used to playing in frosty conditions. But it was the Bills that had to move previously, as their game in 2014 was disrupted.

The Bills will now play their home game against the Browns in Detroit on Sunday, at Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions. And strangely it could be a big boost to the Buffalo side. The Bills are set to face the Lions on Thanksgiving, and the temporary move means they will get the opportunity to get used to their surroundings with Sunday's game at Ford Field.

The Lions seem happy to let the Bills use their facilities, although they did have just one request. The Bills are known for breaking tables in trailer parks, and the Lions left them a message on Twitter.

"Important numbers are by the phone, lock up when you leave and please don’t break the tables," The Lions posted online. But it takes a lot to stop the Bills fans, so it's yet to be seen if they follow orders.
