The UK is set to see plenty of rain and possibly snow over the next few days while an amber weather warning for wind has been put in place.
Conditions are set to improve moving into later next week, when the North-South divide will be prominent and temperatures in the South will be noticeably milder.
Both amber and yellow weather warnings have been put in place for Saturday, Sunday and Monday across the north of the country and all of Scotland.
Temperatures will be mildest in the South West of the country and coldest in the North East.
Moving more towards the latter half of next week from Tuesday to Thursday, the Met Office expects temperatures to be milder than average for this time of year, with just some colder spells possible, most likely in Northern parts.
Here's the outlook for where you live.
Scotland
It will be mostly cloudy and mild moving into tonight with some light rain or drizzle on western hills. Wind is expected too, especially in the North, with gales on coasts and hills, and severe gales across parts of Scotland later.
On Saturday rain will move southeastwards across the UK followed by brighter skies with showers in the North. Gales across Scotland will remain severe.
Snow is expected in the forecast from Sunday to Tuesday, remaining changeable with spells of rain and showers.
Storm Malik will be bringing a period of very strong winds and disruption across eastern Scotland on Saturday, when an amber warning will be in place.
North West
Despite a foggy beginning to the day, the North West has brightened up throughout the day.
It will be largely cloudy overnight and become increasingly windy with periods of light rain and drizzle over the hills at times.
Temperatures are expected to be much milder than last night staying comfortably above freezing at a minimum of 6 C.
Rain will be patchy on Saturday morning but should clear by early afternoon, with brighter skies and sunny spells following from the North. It will be windy but mild with a maximum temperature of 10 C.
Sunday will be mostly dry with some showery rain during the evening. Monday will be colder with sunny spells and while rain will hit on Tuesday, it will clear.
North East
The North East is forecast to be even colder, hovering between 7C and 9C.
Heavy rain and gales are predicted for the area as well as a yellow weather warning from Saturday until Monday because of the wind.
After a foggy start, today has been quite mild, although winds are starting to strengthen.
Gales are possible overnight with some drizzle expected as well.
Saturday will be clearer with some sunny spells, although the temperature will stay chilly with a maximum of 11C.
It will be a cold and frosty start to Sunday with some sunny spells before the rain comes later on in the day. Monday will be cold and breezy while Tuesday is expected to bring wind and rain before it turns milder.
Midlands
The Midlands saw frost and fog which turned into some sunshine today.
It's expected to be mostly cloudy overnight with possible drizzle. But it will be much milder than last night, with temperatures staying well above freezing.
Saturday will mostly be dry and cloudy but will see some patchy rain which will move South. It's expected to be windy but mild with highs of 12C.
Sunday will also be mostly dry but the region could see some evening showers. Monday will bring a temperature dip but there will also be sunny spells.
Sunshine and showers will hit on Tuesday and it will be windy at times.
South West
Skies will gradually cloud over during this afternoon with some possible drizzle in pockets by the evening. Temperatures will hit a high of 12C.
Temperatures will stay comfortably above freezing tonight at a minimum of 8C and be much milder than last night.
Saturday will be cloudy for most with some brighter spells but it will also be very very mild fpr the time of year despite the wind, with temperatures hitting 14C.
Sunday will bring showery rain in the evening while Monday will be colder with sunny spells. The rain will clear on Tuesday to bring sunshine and it will be windy at times.
South East
London and the South East has seen a largely mild day but strong and gusty winds are expected to pick up as we move into tonight.
It will be generally dry but cloudy on Saturday and plenty of wind in the morning, but that will ease as the day goes on. Brighter spells are possible but a band of mostly light rain is also forecast for the region which is expected to clear into the evening. The maximum temperature will be 13C.
Sunday will bring a cold and frosty start with rains and winds likely overnight. Monday is expected to be cold and breezy with some welcome sunny patches, and Tuesday will see winds and rain before it turns milder.
