Weather forecast for Leeds on Tuesday as cold and rain expected

Leeds is set to experience plenty of rain throughout the day.

Many across the city will wake up to rain and temperatures of around 10 degrees at 6am. This will increase across the morning reaching 11 degrees by 11am.

Rain is expected to fall from around 4am meaning it will likely be a wet morning.

After 11am, the temperature will stay at 11 degrees until 5pm when it will drop back down to 10 degrees. The rain will also continue until 5pm when it will begin to clear up.

It should be mostly gone by 6pm but may restart in some areas at around 9pm. The temperature will also drop down to nine degrees from 7pm and down to eight degrees by 9pm.

The Met Office said: "Briefly fine at first, however it will soon become cloudy and windy as a band of occasionally heavy rain edges northeastwards, probably seeing out the day.

"Temperatures near seasonal norm. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
