While the weather across Greater Manchester has been somewhat sporadic, the sun will begin to make more of an appearance accompanied by higher temperatures.
Mancunians will wake up to a bit of sunshine this morning before clouds begin to take over the sky. However, this doesn't mean temperatures won't remain very warm throughout the day, peaking at 16C for the whole of the afternoon.
Fortunately, the weather will remain calm throughout the evening, meaning we get to avoid some of the nasty rain that has been making the rounds during the past few days. According to the Met Office: "Heavy and possibly thundery showers in the south, at first, will soon clear.

"Long sunny spells developing widely from late morning with a few well-scattered showers during the afternoon. Feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 17 °C." And when it comes to the evening, it says: "Any remaining showers quickly clearing, leaving the evening dry with lengthy clear spells.
"Becoming rather chilly in places, perhaps with some mist patches developing by dawn. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
