Weather forecast as Balmoral Show gets underway

As crowds return to the Eikon Exhibition Centre at the Maze ahead of the 154th Balmoral Show, the weather for the first day looks set to be rather damp.

This morning will get off to a cloudy start with scattered morning showers.

Showers become widespread and locally heavy in the afternoon with a maximum temperature of 16 °C.

Thursday looks set to be cloudy with bright spells and a few showers. Temperatures are likely to hit a maximum of 16°C and the pollen count is set to be moderate.

Friday will bring sunny spells and the chance of the odd afternoon shower. Pollen levels are set to be high so hay fever suffers should take precautions.

Saturday will be a relatively dry but cloudy day bringing highs of 18°C. Pollen levels will remain high.
