Ex-Leeds United winger Raphinha has hit back at Roy Keane's criticism of Brazil's samba dancing celebrations in their 4-1 victory over South Korea.
Brazil cruised into the World Cup quarter-finals courtesy of first half goals Vinicius Jr, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta. Paik Seung-ho netted a late consolation for South Korea on an otherwise comfortable evening for Brazil.
Despite their impressive victory, Keane labelled Brazil's celebrations, especially when Tite danced with Richarlison after the second goal, as 'disrespectful'.
"I don't like this," the ex-Manchester United midfielder told ITV. "People say it's their culture, but I think that's really disrespecting the opposition.
"It's four goals, and they are doing it every time. I don't mind so much the first jig, it's the one after that, and the manager getting involved. I'm not happy about it. I don't think it's good at all."
Raphinha responded to Keane's comments and insists that Brazil will continue to celebrate goals with a samba dance.
"The problem is with those who don't like it, because we'll keep doing it. Dance symbolizes the joy of scoring a goal," Raphinha told the media (via Metro).
"We don't do it to disrespect, we don't go in front of the opponent. We get together and everyone celebrates, it's our moment, Brazil is celebration.
"If they don't like it, I don't have much to say to them, we will continue."
