We went on the hunt to find new ASDA product and had zero luck

As colder weather approaches, we’re all finding ways to get cosy. Whether you’re staying warm by wrapping yourself in blankets, tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle or walking around with a nice hot drink in a flask, it’s quite evident it’s getting colder.

In the supermarkets, more festive, Christmas products are creeping in amongst all the Halloween stock. A new ASDA product caught our eye but unfortunately, we weren’t able to find it as community reporter Keimae Blake reports…

I’m not Martin Lewis but I’m always on the lookout for cheaper, alternative products. On October 13, ASDA launched a brand new, own brand Festive Pumpkin Spiced latte powder - but it seems like Nottingham stores don’t have it.

I like most hot drinks whether it be hot chocolate, coffee or tea so I was excited to try this latte. The new, festive product probably would have saved me from queuing up at other local coffee shops.

Priced at just £2.50, on the official ASDA website, it says the product can be found in store or online. I thought it would be a perfect product to test out and try, it’s right up my street but I couldn’t find it…

In ASDA Arnold, amongst all the coffee products including Nestle coffee sachets, Kenko and more, I was confused to not see the ASDA’s own range pumpkin spiced latte. As it’s ASDA’s own product I thought they’d have it at the front of the aisle, showing it off.

After walking around the store, I asked a lady at the till if she’s seen or heard of the product and she politely said: “If it’s not on the shelf duck, we probably don’t have it.”

Great. I couldn’t even think of where the nearest ASDA from the ASDA Arnold was but another shop assistant thought West Bridfgford was probably my best bet.

ASDA's own brand Pumpkin Spiced Latte (ASDA)

Off to West Bridgford I went! I had never been to that ASDA before but was told that it is much bigger and would probably have what I was looking for.

To my disappointment, they didn’t! Another helpful shop assistant told me it was worth going to superstores such as Spondon in Derby or Fosse Park in Leicester.

I was told at the West Bridgford store that Hyson Green’s ASDA most likely won’t have the product either but for a 126G tub of Pumpkin Spiced Latte I couldn’t justify going to Leicester or Derby.

Either way, I’m looking forward to trying it when it finally comes to Nottingham stores. Hopefully, it’s worth the wait!
