Iceland has launched a range of Easter goodies, as well as some themed food, to get everyone in the springtime spirit. I let the little ones test a selection of them to see if they got their seal of approval.
There is something for everyone in this year's Easter haul from the popular supermarket, with everything from dinnertime hits to cute crafts- it seems like any age group can get something they will enjoy. Iceland's Easter treats are all very reasonably priced for the holidays too, so parents will not feel like they are breaking the bank to get their children in the spirit of things.
And, If your kids get an influx of Easter chocolate that they're still nibbling through by Halloween, then Iceland also has a selection of plush toys to provide an alternative.

There is a chick or lamb to choose from both at £3 each. We got the lamb and it was a hit with my youngest who has had it in her bed next to her pillow every night since. The body is super fleecy and with no loose eyes or nose it's a nice gift for toddlers.
For food, as well as the usual Easter eggs, families can get their hands on some savoury options perfect for teatime. We tried the Easter Bunnies shaped chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs.
Needless to say these were a hit with the little ones - they’re chicken nuggets in cute shapes after all. The bunnies currently come in a 10 pack for £3.75 or can be bought as part of Iceland’s three for £10 offer.
If this week will see you scrambling around for an Easter bonnet for the school parade you’re also in luck as Iceland has a ‘Decorate Your Own Easter Bonnet’ kit for £4.
The set comes with 34 pieces including a hat, pompoms, ribbons and pipecleaners. Even if your school isn’t participating in a parade, it’s a nice craft that doesn’t require a lot of messy glueing (as the pieces can be threaded through the hat) or scissors.
For slightly older children there is also an activity set for £1.50 that includes a sheet of good quality stickers as well as a number of paper activities including word searches and cardboard crafts. This kit is another one that, although it needs glue, would provide an easy craft session on a rainy day - just don’t forget to get a packet of colouring pens.
Arguably the most important part of the Easter festivities for children is the egg hunt and if you’re short on time to create the signs and prompts, Iceland has a cardboard kit for £2 that has everything you need for a fun hunt for four people.
The pack includes direction signs, bunny footprints, a golden egg (for that special prize) and paper goodie bags that participants can fill along the way.
