One of the things we have been enjoying of late is the emergence of adult focussed experiences where you can enjoy getting some exciting food and drink and also some themed fun.
Mini-golf, retro gaming, VR experiences and axe throwing, there's plenty to get excited about, but one new venue we haven't seen before is an adult-style fairground packed to the brim with nostalgia fuelled carnival games.
That's where Fayre Play comes in, the new experience that's just been launched by the team behind Fore Play Crazy Golf, who have transformed their Kinning Park site into a miniature Coney Island in the southside of Glasgow.

Glasgow Live popped along to see what we can expect and were quickly pitted against each other in competitive games to see who could win the bragging rights and even some fun prizes.
The fun fairground games, have been given a distinctly Scottish slant with the likes of the Whack-a-mole machines becoming 'Cannae Whack It', Skee Ball 'Skee Baw', and Tin Can Alley 'Tinning Park'.
There are 10 games in all, with the owners explaining that each are able to be switched out and replaced with something new, meaning they can keep refreshing the roster as they go along.
As we worked our way around the room, it was fun to relive the excitement of being a kid at these types of fairground games and the chance to win one of the prizes (such as the stuffed ducks) added a competitive element.
The Shots Fired shooting game and the Skee Baw were definite highlights, though all of the games had their own appeal, and it wasn't long before we'd worked up an appetite.
Grabbing a seat, we ordered some fun Clown Star Martinis from the Fairground-themed cocktail menu and The ‘Scottie Dog’, a hot dog with haggis, cheese and pickled red cabbage (delicious), and of course, you know we just had to try the Corn Dog for that full classic Americana experience (also very delightfully good).
Fayre Play is another exciting addition to Glasgow's nightlife and with its close proximity to the Kinning Park Underground, a great place to kick off your night with easy access to town.
Next time, we are definitely coming home with one of those giant ducks.
