We simulated West Ham United vs Arsenal to get a Premier League score prediction

Arsenal will be looking to tighten their grasp on a top four spot on Sunday afternoon when they face London rivals West Ham Untied in the Premier League

A vital 3-1 win over Manchester United in their previous Premier League outing saw Arsenal's top four hopes move closer to a reality. Currently two points ahead of Spurs in fifth, the Gunners will see every game from now on as a must-win, starting with West Ham who could potentially heavily rotate with their Europa League semi-final in mind.

The last meeting between the two sides saw the Gunners claim a comfortable 2-0 win, with Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith-Rowe grabbing the goals. Mikel Arteta has also been handed a major boost ahead of Sunday, with Bukayo Saka set to be fully fit.

Takehiro Tomiyasu could start for the Gunners after coming on late in their previous game. Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey also remain absent, with the latter potentially out for the remainder of the season.

So, what line-up will Arteta select? And, what could the final score be? We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for West Ham vs Arsenal and this is what happened.

West Ham vs Arsenal score predicted by simulation

We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.

And we predicted that the Irons could set up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Fabianski; Johnson, Zouma, Cresswell; Coufal, Soucek, Noble, Masuaku; Yarmalenko, Benrhama, Fornals.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Elneny, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Smith-Rowe; Nketiah.

Arsenal started the game on top, with Martin Odegaard pulling the strings in midfield. The Norwegian created multiple chances in the first half, with Eddie Nketiah coming close to finding the opener from one of his passes.

After picking up the ball outside the box, Odegaard made a fantastic reverse pass into the path of Nketiah, setting up the striker with a sight of goal. Nketiah took his shot early, but his rushed effort was well saved by Lukas Fabianski.

Nketiah had looked Arsenal's biggest threat in the first half, with West Ham struggling to contain his movement. The English striker missed a few chances, but he grabbed his and Arsenals first goal just before the break.

Odegaard was once again involved, this time grabbing the assist for the goal. The Hammers set up narrow in defence, but a touch of skill from Odegaard saw the midfielder return the ball to Nketiah in the box, and the striker hit his first time shot past the 'keeper.

Arteta set-up his side to be more defensive in the second half, with the Hammers struggling to get forward themselves. Arsenal looked comfortable despite being one goal ahead, but West Ham nearly found an equaliser out of nothing in the last minute.

Aaron Ramsdale made a great save at the last minute (EA SPORTS FIFA)

A poor touch from Nuno Tavares saw the ball fall into the path of Andriy Yarmalenko inside the box. The Ukrainian winger cut the ball onto his left before curling an effort towards the far corner, but Ramsdale made a great save to guarantee the three points.
