Arsenal can extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points on Wednesday night when the Gunners face Everton.
After a run of four games without a win in all competitions, Arsenal have found their feet again, with a 1-0 win over Leicester in their last outing their second victory on the bounce. The Gunners currently sit two points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League table, but they can extend that lead when they host Everton on Wednesday.
The last meeting between these two sides ended in a shock 1-0 win for the Toffees, giving Sean Dyche the perfect start to life as Everton manager. The Gunners will be out for revenge this time round, and history plays in their favour, with Mikel Arteta's side having lost just once at home to Everton since 1996.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Odegaard, Xhaka; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.

Arsenal were unlucky not to find themselves 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes of the game, with Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka striking both posts. The Gunners were on top in the first 30 minutes, and they managed to take the lead through Gabriel Martinelli.

After going ahead, the game shifted into the hands of Everton, with the Toffees all of a sudden on top and putting pressure on the hosts. Neil Maupay was proving a handful, and the Frenchman grabbed an assist as Dyche's side drew level before the break.
A long ball forward was flicked on by Maupay, and Abdoulaye Doucoure beat Gabriel to the ball just outside the box. As Arsenal quickly got numbers back, the midfielder opted to shoot from range, and his strike rifled into the top corner of the net, leaving Aaron Mrasdale with no chance.
After Everton dominated the opening stages of the second half where they came close on multiple occasions, Thomas Partey was introduced and the Gunners regained control not long after. Bukayo Saka came close to winning the game for his side in the 91st minute with a free-kick on the edge of the box, but Pickford made a brilliant save to tip the effort onto the bar and claim a point for the visitors.
