We shopped in Tesco and Morrisons for 10 essentials and were shocked by the price difference

The cost of living crisis has seen many of us cut down where possible to avoid hefty bills at the end of the month.

And whilst energy is at the top of our list for many, followed by the likes of petrol prices, food shopping is also another essential that is on the rise.

We have been looking at some supermarkets to see just how much shopping costs looking at items such as bread, milk, squash and rice from Tesco. To compare prices, we also took a look at Morrisons.
