We shopped Aldi's baby and toddler sale with prices at 99p - here are our top five picks

Calling all new parents and parents-to-be, as Aldi's popular Baby and Toddler Event has officially dropped in-stores and online - and it is one of their biggest sales yet.

Every parent will know that bulk buying newborn essentials can seem daunting and maybe a little expensive.

And with families already grappling with rising food and energy costs due to the ongoing cost of living crisis, it may feel like an added expense to add to the list.

Which is exactly why Aldi's April Baby Event is sure to delight parents all over, as it features a range of parenting must-haves that won't break the bank.

The budget supermarket regularly runs the event each year as part of their iconic middle aisle section - also collectively known by their legion of fans as SpecialBuys.

Each year shoppers can find a range of massive savings for their little ones, but - as with all SpecialBuy's - they are only available for a limited amount of time, meaning they regularly sell out quickly.

This year's event will see parents be able to pick up items such as pushchairs, sleep bags, accessories and maternity items that will help both them and their kids relax in style for as little as 99p.

The Baby and Toddler Event is available to view online, but quite a few products are available to purchase during your next trip to the supermarket.

Parents will be able to find lower costs across a range of new-born and toddler essentials from some of top selling brands, including Mamia, Tommee Tipee and Babylo.

So, whether you are a first time parent, or you've already had a few, here are our top five picks from Aldi's Baby and Toddler Event that both you and your little one will love.
